It has an upward hook and adjustment slot that allows it to be adjusted up or down to the correct position to engage the latch.

The nylon latch hook is 3/16 in long fits into a slot or mortise on the edge of the screen door. It has 3-3/4 in mounting holes and can be opened from both sides. There is a night lock on the inside. The nylon latch rotates to engage or disengage the A 125.
